Weekly Home Inspections

On a weekly basis each home is checked for maintenance and security. Our home inspection services are custom tailored to each residence to allow for personalized, thorough checks. The purpose of this is to prevent major damage through the early detection of mechanical or maintenance needs. Below is a list highlighting what is monitored each week:

  • Alarm system - Schedule maintenance and repairs as needed
  • TV/Audio system - Test equipment for proper operation
  • Fireplace flue - Close when unoccupied
  • Monitor for pest/rodents
  • Vehicle - Battery maintenance
  • Exterior perimeter inspection
  • Irrigation - On/Off, management
  • Mail - Collection from post office
  • Packages - Receiving/Accountability and delivery
  • Weekly Electronic Inspection Data - Sent to client on a monthly basis
  • Exterior doors and windows - Check for operation and security
  • Heating systems - Geothermal, Forced air, Radiant, Electric
  • Hot water heater
  • Water System - Monitor water condition and treatment
  • Plumbing System - Exercise plumbing fixtures
  • Appliances - Check
  • Light bulbs - Inspect interior/exterior and replace as necessary
  • Electrical Panel - Inspect for trips, seasonal circuits on/off
  • Fire Suppression - Check for leaks
  • Hot Tub - Operation, temperature, clarity
  • Monitor propane - Call for refills as needed

Oversight and Management of all Subcontracted Services*

Each home is likely to require additional professional services and maintenance through outside Contractors. Big Sky Home Management will provide reputable, trustworthy subcontractors to complete work in your home and coordinate details with scheduling, monitoring and supervision.

24/7 Emergency Services

We provide all of our clients with 24-hours access to our emergency answering service where you will speak to a live person in the event of an emergency. This enables the BSHM team to be available to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our emergency service number is 406.581.4948.
